C.M. Brake Inc. has developed and patented Integrally Molded Brake Block Designs and is marketing the products under the name TRU-LOK.  Combined with this innovative technology are new compounds designed to enhance performance and durability.

The products are designed for end uses such as Transit and Coach Bus, Refuse, Aggregate, Logging and Emergency Vehicles.

TRU-LOK Advantage

• Incorporation of a metal backing plate which strengthens the shoe assembly and reduces deflection during brake apply.

• Elimination of conventional rivets which allows for an additional 33% of useable lining.

• TRU-LOK 4515 Q even has more useable lining that conventional riveted 4707 Q+!

• Elimination of conventional bolts which allow for an additional 33% of useable lining.  In Bus application, that’s like adding 4 oversizes without machining the drum!

• Enhance drum compatibility due to the absence of rivet/bolt holes.

• Improved performance due to the increased surface area: 6-8% more surface area.

• Secure positioning and shear resistance of brake block with the use of TRU-LOK Lancing/Slot System.
