This product can be considered our ultra premium on-highway brake shoe.  The formula is based around Aramid fibers, which are known for their high strength and heat resistance.  The Aramid fibers also contribute to the exceptional wear resistance of the compound.  Brass chips are included to dissipate heat away from the wear surface and at the same time, contribute to the film that is transferred to the drum surface for protection.
