Since the development of the brake drum system very little has changed about the physical design and manufacturing of the riveted brake shoe.  Basically lining was formed, grinded, then attached to a shoe by rivets.  The same process has essentially been going on since its inception. 

So 3 years ago when C.M. Brake Inc. reopened we decided it was about time to shake up the heavy duty brake friction industry.
